Acupressure is based on traditional Chinese medicine just like acupuncture and other forms of energetic medicine. Dogs (and cats) are highly responsive to acupressure because they are very in tune with their bodies. Dogs know exactly where to scratch when they feel (and cats are amazing in how they cleanse and stimulate their own energetic bodies).

Your dog, whether he is an agility athlete or your best walking buddy, needs his body energetics to be balanced. By balancing your animal's energetics, you can prevent illness, maintain his sense of well-being, and resolve health issues that might arise from injuries or aging.

During our 1 h acupressure session, I will assess your animal with you, offer them a specific set of acupressure points during a comprehensive session that will address your animal's particular needs, and leave you with a set of acupoints that you can use on your own. I look forward to working with you and your dog to contribute to years of health, well-being, and shared enjoyment of each other.

What is animal reiki?

I'm certified in the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki which teaches animal-guided healing through meditation. This unique perspective on healing helps humans support animals. Reiki can be translated as “spiritual energy.” In many spiritual traditions, one’s spiritual energy is seen as the light of your innermost essence or soul. In the Let Animals Lead® method of Animal Reiki, the purposeful intention is to shine this compassionate light into the world to help ease the suffering of animals and their caretakers.

Animal reiki is complementary to veterinary care, works safely with other alternative therapies and can:

⊛ Support the dying process

⊛ Induce deep relaxation and stress-relief

⊛ Help reduce behaviour problems such as anxiety and aggression

What to expect?

Animal reiki is a powerful way to support balance, healing, peace and harmony, for all conditions and situations. Whether your dog is ailing or is happy and healthy, both you and your dog will benefit from the relaxing effect of this group practice.

You'll need to bring a pillow and/or yoga mat to be comfortable during the meditation.

Your dog will be roaming freely around us, receiving energy healing the way they want to.
